Amazon Returns
You must consult Amazon.com concerning any items you wish to return that were purchased through their website, even if the sale was initiated through our online store. If you need help, contact StLBooks.
StLBooks Returns
Money Back Guarantee
For items purchased directly from StLBooks, you may return any item to us for any reason for a full refund (purchase price + tax (if applicable) + shipping cost) within 14 calendar days after you receive it. Refer to your Shipping Notification email and/or the USPS Tracking Number we provided you to determine your order's return eligibility dates. We refund promptly upon receipt of an item that is returned to us within 14 days.
The reason for your return is important in determining how we will handle your request for a refund. For this reason, if you have decided you do not want an item that you ordered for any reason, contact us immediately. Special procedures apply based on the reason for your return.
Orders Placed within Past 24 Hours
If your order was placed within the past 24 hours, chances are, it has not yet been processed out of our store. We can usually stop the shipment and promptly issue you a full refund, including your shipping costs.
Orders Not Opened
If your order has already shipped out, but it has not yet been received or opened by you, do not open the package when it arrives. Boldly mark it ��REFUSED�� on the top and place it back in the US mail. In most cases, neither you, nor StLBooks will incur postage costs for the return. If charges do apply to a Refused shipment, StLBooks will cover the cost in full.
Orders Opened
If you have opened a package and do not wish to keep the item(s), we must receive the returned item(s) in their original ��as sold�� condition. If the item is not defective and was not incorrectly described by us in our listing, we will refund your purchase price upon receipt of the item in good condition. We will not refund the original postage we paid to ship the item(s) to you.
Shipping Returns
Please ship returned items to us using USPS Media Mail with a postmark indicating the return date was initiated within 14 days of receipt of the order. Enclose our packing list, pack your item(s) carefully, and ship to: StLBooks 101 W. Argonne, #65 Kirkwood, MO 63122
Damaged or Not As Described
If the item(s) you received were damaged in transit or do not match the description we provided in our product listing, you are entitled to a full refund, including the original and return postage costs. Again, you must contact us within 14 days and prior to returning the item. We will pay for your return shipping, usually by sending you with a postage-paid label and packaging.
Please note: To reimburse you for damaged merchandise, we also require that the item(s) be returned to us along with our original packaging, and that you enclose our packing list in your return package. These materials may be needed by us to file a claim with the postal service or for quality control purposes.
